Bio

Hey, Mr. Scott here. For those who know me, I’m awesome. For those who don’t know me, I’m awesome (kidding, sorta). I’ve been teaching since 2016 and it has been a wild ride. I’ve taught multiple grades from Kindergarten up to 6th grade. I have two amazing children, a lovely wife and an imaginary pet bunny (maybe). I’m in education because I want to make a difference. I want to create leaders who are able to develop more leaders. I am a huge supporter of people, especially children, starting their own business; something special about having something you can call your own. I have experience in graphic design, photography and finances. I enjoy bowling and axe throwing and spending time pouring into people to become their best self. Anything else you want to know just ask. I am an open book.

Oh, one more thing!

I’m a little tough, but if you make it through my class, you will be much better for it.

I look forward to seeing you.

My Philosophy

I believe in doing school different. The purpose of school is not to sit mindlessly and listen to someone talk. The purpose of school is to learn yourself, learn others and learn how to think. Students will work for everything as I will not just give a grade. I believe in stretching children beyond academically. If they’re not better after having been in my class then I have failed as an educator. Once they enter my classroom, they are no longer my students but they are extensions of my family; they are my bonus sons and daughters.
